Marie-Claire Waldmann
I am an Associate in Fieldfisher's Munich office and advise on Media and Entertainment.
Professional background
My main areas of practice
Our clients include national and international companies from the media and entertainment industry. A particular focus of my work is the conduct of contentious proceedings, especially on copyright issues such as fair remuneration and “bestseller remuneration” as well as corresponding claims for information and transparency obligations. I also provide support in the negotiation of joint remuneration rules.
In addition, I advise our clients on all legal issues along the audiovisual value chain - from development to exploitation.
I advise our clients in German and English.
Personal engagement
I am a member of the German Association of Women Lawyers (Deutscher Juristinnenbund e.V.).
My background
I studied at the Humboldt University in Berlin and at the LUISS Guido Carli in Rome.
I completed my legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal, with stages at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, in a major international law firm in the field of IP law and in the legal department of a globally renowned media company.
