Professional background

I have a broad range of experience in advising on complex, and often time sensitive, commercial disputes for a broad range of clients, including PLCs, SMEs and individuals. My remit covers all aspects of commercial dispute resolution, including contractual disputes, contentious insolvency, professional negligence, defamation, and shareholder disputes.

Some of my work highlights include:

  • Acting for a UK Plc in a £4 million dispute surrounding the interpretation of a share purchase agreement relating to a renewable energy plant.
  • Advising a majority shareholder in defending a £2 million claim which included allegations of unfair prejudice.
  • Advising the board of directors of a UK Plc on their duties during a period of financial distress for the business.
  • Advising a Premier League football player on obtaining an injunction regarding a potentially defamatory publication.
