With extensive experience in banking and financial services sector, I act for a number of leading international banks and financial institutions on a wide range of banking, civil fraud and asset recovery, commercial and regulatory disputes. I also regularly represent state and private entities in litigation before the English Court, and in arbitration in a broad range of commercial disputes across industry sectors. I am often instructed in disputes with an Asian, Middle Eastern or African link, with proceedings in the UK, India, Singapore, Dubai, Europe and the US.

I advise on a range of issues including challenging sanctions, licences, impact of asset freeze, ownership and nexus issues, jurisdictional scope and sectoral sanctions, and the termination of contracts with sanctioned parties.
