Professional background

I'm a contentious intellectual property lawyer working on a wide range of disputes covering database right, trade marks, passing off, design rights, copyright and confidential information. Recent litigation experience includes working on high-profile soft IP cases across a range of sectors, including SkyKick v Sky (software) in the Supreme Court, unregistered design right and copyright infringement in the High Court (fashion), alleged trade mark infringement and passing off proceedings before the High Court (media and entertainment) and a confidential information dispute in the High Court (financial products). I also advise clients on non-contentious IP matters and provide advice in relation to brand protection strategies, including clearance, monitoring, enforcement and portfolio management.

I have experience working in-house for a global technology company and one of the world’s most valuable brands.

I also subscribe to The Fashion Law and am a member of the Society for Junior Intellectual Property Practitioners (IPSoc) and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
