Professional background
I hold an LL.M. in International and European Business Law from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven) (2024, magna cum laude). I also obtained a Master’s degree in Private and Criminal Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) (2015, cum laude), during which I completed an exchange program at Sapienza Università di Roma in Italy.
Before joining Fieldfisher, I gained experience working for an alternative investment fund manager (AIFM), where I developed strong knowledge of financial markets law, compliance with the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and corporate law. I then worked at an international law firm in Brussels in the Trade & Regulatory and International Arbitration departments, working on a wide range of matters, including trade defence investigations, international investment arbitration, EU sanctions, compliance with the European Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and the Forced Labour Regulation, as well as EU customs law.
I am a member of the French Brussels Bar.
I am natively bilingual in French and Arabic, fluent in English and have basic knowledge of Dutch and Italian.
