Professional background

Professional background

I advise companies and executives on all aspects of employment law. My practice has a strong focus on cross-border employment matters, including international and European social security and immigration law.

With extensive experience as a strategic advisor in complex restructuring matters, I provide guidance on transfers of undertaking (TUPE), collective dismissals, and insolvency procedures. As a seasoned litigator, I have handled high-profile cases on dismissal, non-discrimination, and cross-border employment disputes.

Clients across the food & beverage, manufacturing, life sciences, technology, and professional services sectors value my pragmatic, results-driven approach in areas such as salary structuring, dismissal, workplace flexibility, diversity, equal treatment, and non-discrimination matters.

Recognized as an expert in employment law, I am ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, co-edit a legal journal, and frequently publish and speak on employment, social security, and immigration law.

Fluent in English, French, and Dutch, I am known for being a "true business partner" in helping clients navigate employment law across multiple jurisdictions.

My academic credentials include a Master of Laws from the University of Leuven (2009) and an additional Master’s degree in Social Law from the University of Brussels (2010). I have been a member of the Brussels Bar since 2010.
