Clients include UK and overseas companies, their shareholders and directors across a range of sectors including telecoms/media/technology, resources and financial services. I also advise clients on a large range of shareholder, fund-raising, acquisition, company secretarial, and commercial matters, also acting as a first port of call for clients’ issues across all aspects of law.
I have advised the following clients on corporate and commercial projects in the following sectors. In the telecoms, media and technology sectors I have advised: various media clients including Edexcel, William Reed and the Music Publishers’ Association; technology companies such as PacketExchange and Teraview, on their fundraisings, and commercial arrangements; several media companies on a variety of corporate matters including re-structuring, consultancy arrangements and business expansion; and healthcare companies on their shareholder, fundraising, and commercial arrangements.
In the financial services sector I have: worked with a wide range of AIM listed clients and their financial advisers on flotations, fundraisings, compliance and company secretarial issues; and advised banks (including Bank of Ireland) on the funding of acquisitions of UK care home businesses.
In the resources sector I advised: Avocet Mining on the disposal of its assets in Tajikistan and South East Asia; EMED Mining on its acquisition of the Rio Tinto assets in Spain; and Woburn Energy plc on its reverse takeover by Cetus.
