Professional background

I represent a variety of UK and international clients with a particular interest in the art, media and tech sectors.

I advise clients across a wide range of contentious intellectual property matters, providing commercial advice to new and established brands in pre and post litigation scenarios. With a focus on brand protection strategy and enforcement, I specialise in trade mark and copyright disputes, together with frequently handling defamation matters. I have also worked on technology disputes, often in relation to contractual breach and complex termination issues.

Listed in the Managing IP 'IP Stars Handbook' 2023 and 2024 as "a Rising Star", I have experience of litigation in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, High Court (both Chancery and King's Bench divisions) and Court of Appeal, together with registry actions.

I enjoy writing articles for external publications and contributing to the firm's 'SnIPpets' intellectual property blog. I also regularly speak at internal and external events, such as Fieldfisher's annual IP Crammer, the Music Publishers Association course and bespoke training for clients.

I re-joined Fieldfisher in 2019 having taken a year away from law to cycle from the UK to New Zealand. I initially joined the firm in 2017, having trained and worked at a leading international firm followed by a boutique IP practice in London.
