Fieldfisher's new UK GDPR website

This Data Protection Day we give you the Fieldfisher UK GDPR website.  With the Brexit transition period over, the EU GDPR no longer applies to the UK.  For now, the majority of the EU GDPR has been saved in domestic law by virtue of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (Section 3). It is now the "UK GDPR" (along with an amended version of the Data Protection Act 2018) which governs data protection in the UK.
 
Despite the UK GDPR being similar to the EU GDPR, the text does differ and certain chapters no longer apply.  Our UK GDPR reference site is a one stop shop (pardon the GDPR pun) for all your UK GDPR needs. Specifically it:
 

• Incorporates all changes made to the UK GDPR;
• Lists all chapters/Articles of the UK GDPR and links to the full text of each UK GDPR Article;
• Identifies which Articles and subsections do not form part of the UK GDPR; and
• Cross-references each Article to the relevant recitals.

 
And if this isn't enough of a celebration, today Fieldfisher has also:

• Launched its publication of Data Protection Times.
