Immigrant Council of Ireland
Dublin's first po bono project, in collaboration with the Immigrant Council of Ireland and another Irish law firm, secures independent immigration status for survivors of domestic violence.
With no public funding in this area, the project ensures survivors of domestic abuse can reclaim their lives and independence from the perpetrator of the abuse, without the threat of violence.
"The Immigrant Council of Ireland provides a free legal service but is limited in its capacity and we hope that by working on this project it will help the Immigrant Council of Ireland to meet the needs of those who contact it for assistance in these extremely difficult circumstances." Aisling Ray, Associate in Public & Regulator Law Group.
