Charity Commission release the findings of their Covid-19 survey
The Commission found that 60% of charities surveyed had experienced loss of income as a result of Covid-19. Furthermore, 62% of charities anticipate some level of threat to their charity’s financial viability in the next 12 months. Read more here.

Research by the OSCR reveals the current position of Scotland's charity sector
Scottish charities have a combined annual income of over thirteen billion pounds, making it a similar size to the Scottish NHS. Read more here.

Autumn Budget & Spending Review
HM Treasury has published its Budget and Spending Review which sets out proposed spending in the sector. The Charity Commission’s budget will rise from £28.3m in 2021–22 to £29.3m in 2024–25. £9m to go to the Levelling Up Parks fund, £850m for cultural and heritage institutions along with an extension to Museums and Galleries Tax Relief. £700m to sports facilities and youth clubs.
