FTSE 100 Companies' charitable giving drops 26% in a decade
Latest research from Charities Aid Foundation suggests that the UK's largest listed companies have cut back on charitable giving. Companies gave £1.85 billion to charities last year, a number much reduced from the £2.51 billion a decade ago. Read more.

HMRC pledges £5.5 million in partnership funding to support customers who need extra help with their tax affairs
HMRC is inviting eligible organisations to bid for the funding, worth £1.8 million a year from 2024 to 2027, through HMRC's Voluntary and Community Sector Grant Funding programme. Read more.

Charity Commission publishes annual research on public trust in charities and trustees' experience of their role
Trust in charities has marginally increased and charities continue to be the second most trusted social institution of those benchmarked against. Trust continues to be closely linked to the public seeing a high proportion of funds used for charitable activity.
