Fieldfisher advises The Cumberland on strategic partnership with Tata Consultancy Services

The Cumberland has entered into a collaboration with TCS to deploy TCS BaNCS™ for Core Banking, TCS Digital Home Lending Solution for Mortgages and Quartz for Compliance. This partnership marks a pivotal step in The Cumberland’s transformation plans, ensuring it continues to meet evolving customer needs with a resilient and modern banking solution.

The Cumberland is a building society run for the benefit of its customers providing services including mortgages, savings, current accounts and other financial services. Tata Consultancy Services is an IT services, consulting and business solutions organisation that partners with many of the world’s largest businesses in their transformation journeys.

The Cumberland will leverage TCS's state-of-the-art digital banking solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. The new banking solution will offer greater flexibility in how customers choose to manage their finances, whether online, by phone, or in-branch.
