European law firm Fieldfisher is delighted to announce that Robert Shooter has been re-elected as its Managing Partner for further three years. His new term will commence on 1 April 2025.

Robert was first elected as Managing Partner on 1 May 2022, successfully kick-starting Fieldfisher's new strategy focused on European expansion, ESG and industry sector growth.
Under his leadership, the firm has continued to achieve year-on-year growth, strengthen its specialist areas with a string of new lateral hires and expand its European footprint with new offices in Austria and Italy. The firm's industry sector programme focused on energy and natural resources, financial services, life sciences and technology has been particularly successful at embedding client relationships across jurisdictions and multiple service lines.
The firm's international network now stretches to 23 offices across 12 countries. A particular highlight for the whole network has been the One Firm Action fundraising initiative - one of the most successful firmwide activities, initiated by Robert Shooter, as part of the firm's strategic focus on ESG. Through a collective effort of people, the firm donated £526,000 to 15 charities in support of various global causes.
Robert Shooter commented:
"It is a great privilege to be Fieldfisher's Managing Partner, and I am delighted to be re-elected for a second term. Our three-year plan, at the start of my first term, was very ambitious. I am very proud of what we have achieved. Working together and following a clear strategy, we have placed the firm in a strong and enviable position in the legal market. We have delivered for our clients and our communities. We have built a solid platform for the future growth and success of the firm. I look forward to working with my partners and everybody in the firm on the next stage of our firm's development in 2025 and beyond.”
Senior Partner David Wilkinson said:
"Rob has done a fantastic job as Managing Partner and I am delighted he has been re-appointed for a second term. His re-election signals the stability and continuity of the firm's leadership and the confidence of the partnership in the firm's direction. I am excited to continue working closely with Rob on realising our firm's ambitious agenda for the future, while maintaining our all important supportive and entrepreneurial culture."
