This article is intended to assist an employer planning to expand its workforce in either or both of the UK and Türkiye. It provides a brief overview of key employment law considerations for growing workforces, in each of these jurisdictions. Whilst many relevant employment rights are governed by legislation, clear and consistent written terms, procedures and policies will become even more critical as the company grows. Terms should be reviewed regularly to ensure continued protection of the employer's business interests and compliance with local law.
