As part of the growth of the Paris office, Fieldfisher announces the promotion to Counsel of Mathilde Cazé and Paul Peyret. These promotions, which will take effect on 1 November 2021, were decided unanimously by all twenty partners and will involve the sponsorship and support of the partners in charge of the practices concerned.

Mathilde Cazé - Stock Exchange and Capital Markets
Mathilde Cazé specialises in stock market law and capital markets. She advises companies in various sectors (in particular life sciences, new technologies, cleantech) and investment services providers on IPOs, secondary transactions on the financial markets (capital increases), listed M&A transactions, public offerings and more generally on investments in listed companies. She also assists numerous issuers on a day-to-day basis with all their legal obligations.
Mathilde holds a Master 2 in Banking and Financial Law from the University of Paris I as well as a Master 2 in Business and Tax Law from the University of Paris II. She has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2014.
Paul Peyret - Public Law
Paul Peyret specialises in the fields of public real estate law (town planning and environmental law), public procurement (public contracts and concession contracts) and administrative litigation. He advises public authorities, sponsors and lenders on energy, transport, telecommunications, waste and water infrastructure projects, as well as on the construction of public works and facilities. He also has extensive expertise in litigation and regulatory law, particularly in the pharmaceutical, energy and audiovisual sectors, as well as in state aid.
Paul holds a Master 2 in General Public Law from the University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour and a Master 2 in Public Contracts Law from the University of Poitiers. He has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2010.
