Professional background

I am a partner with more than 21 years’ experience in resolving disputes for corporate clients. I have particular expertise in cases requiring injunctive and freezing order relief, often representing national and international businesses.

I always seek to resolve disputes efficiently and early through mediation and negotiation and bring a pragmatic and commercial approach to clients’ dispute resolution needs. I have expertise across all forms of dispute resolution and international arbitration (I am experienced in Arbitration under LCIA, ICC or Uncitral Rules) with matters having an international or cross border element.

I advise on disputes involving fraud, complex contractual issues, restrictive covenants, protection of business trade secrets, claims arising from corporate deals (including warranty and indemnity claims), director, shareholder and partnership disputes and agency and distributor disputes. This is in multiple business areas, including banking, oil trades, professional services, heavy engineering, manufacturing, luxury goods, and technology.

I have expertise in search orders and delivery of goods or information and am qualified, and regularly appointed, to act as a supervising solicitor where searches take place under Court Order from a broad range of commercial sectors.

In my spare time, I cycle, watch motorcycle racing and rugby, and run around after my children.
