Professional background

His expertise includes antitrust and merger control, distribution law, commercial litigation, unfair practices and also telecommunication law and energy law.

After one year in the Cardiff School of European Studies, he graduated from the Political Studies Institute of Strasbourg (Sciences-Po Strasbourg) in 2007, and holds a master's degree in EU business law from the University of Strasbourg (2009). He was admitted to the Paris bar in 2014.

Before joining Fieldfisher Paris office, he worked in YGMA as an associate (French law firm specialized in telecommunications and energy), and had previously developed a significant know-how in major law firms in Paris (including several from Magic Circle) and within the Court of Appeal of Paris.

He is involved in several associative activities within the AFEC Jeunes (youth committee of the French association on competition studies) and the International League of competition law (LIDC). He has published several articles in English in the e-Competitions review.

He speaks French, English and Spanish.

New European Union rules on the exemption of vertical agreements will enter into force this Wednesday, June 1.

The current European Union rules on the exemption of vertical agreements expire on May 31.   They are replaced by a new Vertical Block Exemption Regulation (hereinafter "VBER") and new Vertical Guidelines (hereinafter "VGL") adopted on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 by the Commission and which enter into force on June 1, 2022.
