At the Distribution and Franchising Department, I deal with important international franchise networks setting up in Spain, as well as with openings of Spanish franchises abroad. I am a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), and I regularly attend its annual Franchise Meetings (IFA). In addition, I also attend the meetings held twice a year by the European Franchise Law (EFL) so that I am permanently updated on European Franchise Law.
After the international financial crisis in 2017, the collapse of Lehman Brothers, the nationalisation of Icelandic Banks and the Madoff scandal, I delved into the study of Financial Law in order to help investors deal with their financial problems, especially those related to derivatives. I currently balance work as an advisor in international franchise matters and bank litigation field at Fieldfisher.
After graduating in Law from the University of Barcelona, I worked for a law firm in London where I learnt Civil and Common Law, as well as Franchise and International Law. Back in Barcelona, I became the deputy director of the legal department of the company Bocatta, where I specialised in franchise both at a national and international level.
