I advise both German and multinational companies on a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions with a particular focus on German and cross-border M&A. I have particular expertise in connection with venture capital transactions and corporate transactions in the real estate sector where I advise companies on the acquisition and sale of real estate portfolios and the structuring of project developments.
Besides my transactional practice, I advise my clients on general corporate matters such as group re-organisations, joint ventures and shareholder disputes as well as on corporate finance and restructuring transactions. Moreover, I consult medium-sized and family companies with respect to corporate structuring and succession matters. Finally, I have extensive experience regarding the legal structuring of closed-ended private equity funds in various sectors such as maritime shipping, real estate, private equity and renewable energies.
Prior to joining Fieldfisher I worked for several years for a US law firm in Germany focusing on M&A and general company representation.
I graduated from the University of Trier and wrote my doctoral thesis in the field of international corporate law about creditor protection and foreign companies. I am a lecturer for corporate law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and a member of the Academic Association of Corporate and Business Law (VGR).
I advise my clients in German, English and French.
