Gary Walker

This is my second stint at the firm, having previously represented it as a partner in the early noughties when I helped develop the practice alongside Guy Usher and Edward Miller.  With 30 years' in-house and private practice experience in my fields of expertise, and on top of my PSL responsibilities, I now undertake ad hoc project work (most recently, for example, in relation to IBOR discontinuance) and fulfil a variety of opinion commisioning, writing and reviewing roles.

I have variously been described as one of the best speakers on OTC derivatives in the City, as a derivatives legend and as a maverick. I have appeared in various legal directories and I am author of Mastering Finance-linked Swaps (FT-Prentice Hall 2003), the only book that deals with interest rate hedging in the context of day to day financing structures.
