Hélène Lefebvre

I have over 20 years' experience spent in advising international and domestic arrangers, lenders, mezzanine lenders, debt funds and borrowers, for transactions involving asset finance (real estate and moveable assets), acquisition finance, corporate finance and restructuring. I also have significant experience in the acquisition of performing or non-performing loan receivables.

The industry sectors I specialise in cover financial institutions, real estate (development, offices, logistics, retail, hotels & leisure), environmental clean-up, IT, fintech and media.

I have been involved in many major projects, including the recent financing of the construction of the Highlight building in Courbevoie.

I have been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in France editions for Structured Finance Law since 2017 and described by Legal 500 as "taking care of her clients, being very focused on the deals, being excellent in negotiation, where she is always a step ahead, and knowing how to find mutually acceptable solutions for both parties".

My strengths are pragmatism and innovation. I value a hands-on approach, being involved at all stages of a transaction and ensuring that the agreements I draft are as "user friendly" as possible, always bearing in mind that they are mostly implemented by non-lawyers. I am also not afraid of looking into new structures, new areas of law, or of adopting new IT tools to best serve my clients.

My native languages are French and English and I have a conversational knowledge of German.
