Professional background
I have successfully argued investor-State and commercial arbitrations worth billions arising out of large infrastructural projects in the power, mining, oil & gas and construction. I have acted under all major arbitration rules such as ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, LCIA, SCC and the like. I have also represented States before the International Court of Justice and the English High Court of Justice.
Since 2023, I have been ranked as a "Future Leader" in International Arbitration in the Lexology Index (former Who's Who Legal). In addition to being solicitor in England and Wales, I am also member of the Bulgarian bar.
I speak Bulgarian, Macedonian, and Russian, and understand French.

On 23 June 2025, Mr Justice Rajah of the Chancery Division handed down judgment in Rasmala Trade Finance Fund v Trafigura Pte Ltddismissing a claim for restitution of US$ 21.6 million allegedly made on a mistaken basis.
