Katherine Leslie

I specialise in advising public officials in the proper exercise of their powers and advising on complex public inquiries, investigations and inquests.  I have acted for government departments, regulators and a public service broadcaster.
 
I have worked on a number of public inquiries and internal investigations established to examine historical and contemporary claims on a range of issues, including gender and pay, the confiscation of land, environment, education, health and settlement claims.  I am currently working for the solicitor to inquests into the deaths of 22 people at the Manchester Arena terror attack in 2017.
 
I also have specialist experience in advising clients on investigations by the Information Commissioner and appeals to the courts following challenges under freedom of information and data protection regulations.
