Professional background
I am admitted to practice in England and Wales.
My interests chiefly lie in big-ticket commercial disputes, although I have experience in various litigious matters including property disputes, investigations, fraud, contractual disputes, and personal injury claims.
Some of my recent / most memorable client work includes:
- Acting for a high-net-worth international client in respect of a conspiracy claim valued at approximately US$14b. The dispute includes complex issues of jurisdiction and parties alleged to be interconnected with the Russian Federation.
- Representing a corporate entity in defending the non-performance of a ROFO contract valued at £32m.
- Acting for a Middle Eastern airline in dealing with high-volume small track claims and working to improve their performance and services.
- Assisting a Manchester charity in a trade mark registration dispute against a celebrity-politician, well-known for their espousals of right wing views.
Aside from chargeable work, I have a genuine interest in participating in pro bono matters. As a disabled person, I have taken particular pleasure in working with Access Social Care, a charity which assists disabled people and their families in fighting for social care funding.
When I'm not working, I enjoy writing and reading, visiting historical sites around London, and attending drum and bass festivals.
