I am mainly a tax litigator active in administrative and judicial proceedings. I handle issues that raise questions of principle as well as deep factual analyses. I also advise on various tax aspects of the sectors; real estate planning, life science, and technology. As a result of my education in both criminal and tax law, I have developed a particular interest in tax crime issues at both national and European/international level, including money laundering, tax fraud and investigations, and corruption.
For two years I was a member of a junior enterprise called LLN Juris Club, active in drafting legal documents and providing legal advice. Before joining Fieldfisher, I did a summer internship there and then also acted as paralegal.
I studied at three different Belgian universities. Firstly, I obtained a bachelor's degree in law at the Université de Saint-Louis (USLB). I continued my studies with a master's degree in law with a major in civil and criminal law and a minor in tax law at the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL). Finally I completed a master's degree specializing in tax law at the University of Brussels (ULB).
I have been a member of the French Bar Association of Brussels since October 2023.
I am fluent in French and Dutch. I also have a good knowledge of English.
