Professional background

I am a partner in charge of IT/IP law, specialist in all technology-driven business models. I have been advising on all areas of IT/IP law for over ten years, with a strong focus on data protection law. My experience in the technology sector has involved me working with start-ups, public bodies, large multinationals and non-government organisations in digital media, data and telecoms projects.

I am an expert in digitalisation topics and assist in solving all legal problems arising from the introduction of legal tech products. I have a high basic technical understanding of all practical requirements related to information technologies.

I act as an external data protection officer (DPO) in numerous companies. Prior to my work as a lawyer, I worked for several years as Deputy Head of Legal Affairs and Data Protection Officer for the leading IT service provider in the public sector in Austria.

In addition to my work as a lawyer, I am also a lecturer for IT law at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein/Tyrol.
