Professional background

I specialise in the energy, natural resources, infrastructure, environment, urban planning and public procurement sectors. I have been practising law since 1999, and throughout my career I have participated in due diligence processes, analysing permitting issues and identifying regulatory, environmental and urban planning risks.

My experience has enabled me to support the structuring of permitting and economic processes for the implementation of renewable generation facilities (wind, photovoltaic and self-consumption), as well as high-efficiency cogeneration. I have also advised on supply contracting (water, gas and PPAs).

I have worked on project implementation procedures on public, endowed and private land. I specialise in regulatory matters (authorisations and sectoral registries), public procurement, public-private cooperation, and concession rebalancing. I have also advised on subsidies, grants and loans, as well as on compulsory purchase, urban, territorial, environmental and cultural heritage protection matters.

I am an expert in public and private contractual rebalancing procedures and in administrative liability matters, particularly in the field of urban planning. I have experience litigating before the courts, including in accounting, constitutional and EU law matters.

I primarily advise companies in the construction, infrastructure, industrial and energy sectors (electricity, gas, hydrocarbons, etc.), as well as in transactions involving the purchase and sale of assets, concessions and authorisations.

In 2019 and 2020, I was ranked among the best lawyers in Europe in the area of Energy and Natural Resources by Chambers and Partners.
