Professional background

Professional background

With twenty years of experience, I have focused my practice on advising leading Spanish industrial investors and private equity firms on their investments and divestments in M&A transactions.

I have participated in numerous M&A deals advising international clients with a presence in multiple jurisdictions, coordinating the work of offices and collaborating law firms in LATAM, Europe and Asia. This has given me a deep understanding of the specific needs of this type of client and their preferred buyout and co-investment structures.

In recent years, I have advised on a wide range of transactions in the infrastructure sector, acting as Secretary to the Board of Directors of several target companies and advising shareholders and boards on corporate governance matters.

I also have extensive experience in M&A transactions in the renewable energy sector, advising both domestic developers and international investment funds on the sale and purchase of Ready-to-Build portfolios.

Professionally, I have significant experience at the international law firm Jones Day, where I worked as Of Counsel in the M&A and Private Equity department.

I hold a Law Degree with a specialisation in EU Law from Universidad San Pablo CEU in Madrid and a Diplôme d’Études Supérieures in EU Law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

I advise clients in Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese.
