In the field of banking supervisory law my expertise includes compliance related as well as product specific issues; with respect to insurance supervisory and investment funds law I focus on investment restrictions. My long-term in-house experience enables me to provide clients with legally robust and commercially viable advice.
My client base consists of foreign and German credit institutions, financial services institutions, payment services providers as well as insurance undertakings.
Furthermore, I advise entities and individuals with regard to their investments in German regulated institutions.
Prior to joining Fieldfisher I worked for two UK law firms and a US investment bank.

Fieldfisher advises NEXT Generation Invest GmbH on building acquisition for use by the North Rhine-Westphalia School of Finance

NEXT Generation Invest GmbH, the Frankfurt-based investment and asset manager focused on impact investments, has acquired three buildings with 322 residential apartments in Herford for one of its funds by way of a sale-and-leaseback. The buildings will be used by the "Hochschule für Finanzen des Landes NRW" to accommodate its students. NEXT was legally advised by Dr. Matthias Heßler and lawyers from the European law firm Fieldfisher.
