Professional background

Prior to Fieldfisher I spent three years at MinterEllisonRuddWatts, working within one of New Zealand’s leading corporate practices. During this time I was part of the team advising the United Kingdom Department for International Trade (now the Department for Business and Trade) on the UK-New Zealand free trade agreement negotiations.

I have a First Class Honours Degree in Law and a Bachelor of Management Studies with a major in Economics from the University of Waikato (New Zealand). Following graduation, I was awarded a gold medal for my achievement of being the top Honours student in Law in 2019. I use my background in economics and M&A, including my experience in managing transactions, to assist clients in achieving pragmatic and business focussed solutions.
