Notable deals and highlights
- The team worked with a major multinational
technology corporation, for whom we record their intellectual property
rights with Customs authorities throughout Europe, to ensure counterfeit
goods were seized in all EEA Member States. We also liaised with HM
Revenue & Customs in England and Wales to ensure the seizure of counterfeit
and pirated products.
- We assisted a global mobile phone manufacturer on the development and implementation of an enforcement programme to prevent the supply and sale of counterfeit and pirate accessories. We liaised with HM Revenue & Customs and Trading Standards and took action against vendors throughout the supply chain. We identified a number of manufacturers in the Far East, allowing enforcement measures to be taken in the relevant jurisdictions.
- We acted in the High Court for a British multinational automotive company in relation to counterfeit car badging and lettering.
