A new EAMI Network (Iberoamerican Medicines Authorities Network) website has been launched

Last week the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS) launched the new website of the Iberoamerican Medicines Authorities Network (EAMI). This network is coordinated by the AEMPS and is a forum for cooperation and exchange of scientific and technical experiences in which 22 Iberoamerican authorities for medicines and health products are members.

By offering high standards of quality, safety, efficacy, correct identification and information on medicines and medical devices, the Network aims to generate knowledge through the exchange of experience and technical, legislative and organizational information to guarantee society's access to medicines and medical devices.

Spain announces joining the European Health Process (EHP) Partnership for Health Sector Climate Action

During the Alliance's strategic planning meeting held in Vienna on 13 February, Spain announced its incorporation into the European Health Process (EHP) Partnership for Health Sector Climate Action, an initiative that seeks to accelerate the decarbonization of the health sector and its adaptation to climate change.

Participation in this alliance will enable the development of joint strategies to reduce emissions in key areas such as sustainable mobility in the health sector, energy efficiency in health centers and hospitals, the adaptation of the National Health System to the impacts of climate change and the decarbonization of supply chains in the health sector.
