European law firm Fieldfisher has announced today the appointment of Aurélien Jugand to its fast-growing Banking and Finance team in its Financial Markets and Products (FMP) Group at their Paris offices.
Aurélien Jugand began his career at Société Générale before entering the legal profession and joining Ayache. He then joined the finance team at Reed Smith before being promoted to Counsel in the financial markets department of Simmons & Simmons . He subsequently joined McDermott, where he notably developed support for banks and debt funds in structured finance. Aurélien works with all types of financial institutions and debt funds, as well as with sponsors and companies both nationally and internationally. Aurélien has developed recognized expertise in financing, particularly assisting numerous French and international banks. His significant experience enhances the firm's expertise in corporate and acquisition financing (especially in leveraged transactions) on behalf of lenders.

Aurélien holds a Master II in Private Law from Jean Monnet University (Paris XI – Sceaux), a Specialized Master's in International Business Law and Management from ESSEC Business School, and an LLB from the University of London International Programmes. Aurélien has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2011.
