Fieldfisher strengthens its Restructuring and Insolvency practice with the appointment of Cruz Amado as Partner

Cruz joins Fieldfisher from Deloitte, where she was Director of the Restructuring and Insolvency team. Previously, she held the position of Director in the Litigation and Insolvency Department at KPMG.

Throughout her career, Cruz has developed strong expertise in restructuring processes, insolvency situations, cross-border insolvencies and special situations. She has extensive experience in proceedings involving financially distressed companies (insolvency, restructuring and related litigation) with implications in capital markets and structured finance.

She has been involved in highly complex and impactful transactions and is currently undertaking her PhD in preventive restructuring frameworks. In addition, she is the author of various publications, a speaker at specialist forums, and a lecturer at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, as well as part of the faculty of several specialist programmes in restructuring.
