European law firm Fieldfisher has welcomed digital regulation specialist Dr Simon Assion, further expanding its Technology & Data advisory services in Germany.
Simon Assion brings many years of experience in advising and representing companies in all areas of technology regulation, including data protection and data regulation, provider liability (Digital Services Act), content moderation, and telecommunications and media law. He joins Fieldfisher from Bird & Bird.
With his move in June, Fieldfisher gains a leading figure in the field of technology law in Germany. His clients include market-leading international technology, telecommunications and mobility companies, which he has successfully represented in numerous complex and high-profile proceedings over many years.
The new addition strengthens Fieldfisher's focus and expertise in the future-driven and law firm-defining areas of technology and digital innovation. Assion, who will strengthen the Frankfurt and Berlin offices, expands the Technology & Data group's partner team in Germany to ten partners. The team also includes six counsels, five senior associates and five associates in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and now Frankfurt am Main.
