Professional background
I have broad experience in delivering legal services at scale, including successfully operating a digital mass defence business working for major clients from the Automotive and the FinTech industry.
After graduating from Bucerius Law School and Boston College Law School, I earned my doctorate in Capital Markets Law. During my legal training, I worked for leading international law firms in Berlin, London and Tokio. Furthermore, I worked as a Corporate & Capital Markets Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Hamburg. Afterwards I moved to an operational role at Axel Springer SE, where I set up the digital consulting company Axel Springer hy, as Chief Operating Officer. In 2019, I founded the legal tech start-up eagle lsp, which primarily supports companies in defending against large mass proceedings.
Furthermore, I have broad legal expertise in Corporate and Capital Markets Law with a focus on founders and start-ups. I advise start-ups regarding Corporate Law, employee participation programs and financing rounds, and work closely with founders and represented them in exit negotiations. In the last year, I worked mainly with crypto start-ups advising them on their product, corporate structure and regulatory framework.
