I am a Partner specialising in structured finance, derivatives and debt capital markets matters. My clients are banks, insurers, asset managers, institutional investors and corporates. I focus in particular on clients in the Pensions Sector, Credit Funds and FinTech businesses.

I draw on my broad experience across derivatives and structured finance transactions to help clients devise solutions and develop new products which combine different financing techniques.Recent examples are:

  • I advised the provider on the first Capital Backed Journey Plan for a UK DB Pension Scheme.
  • I have helped credit managers to structure fixed income products for their clients backed by working capital finance and alternative lending arrangements.
  • I have worked with the trustee of a UK Pension Scheme to implement liability cash-flow matching investment mandates based on fixed income and structured credit investments combined with a derivatives overlay
  • I have advised FinTech businesses on funding solutions using private securitisations

I have deep experience in the Pensions Sector. Since advising on the first longevity insurance contract in the market in 2009, I have worked with Trustees, Sponsors and Providers on investment and ALM products, risk-transfer solutions and covenant and funding arrangements.

I advise on all arrangements involving derivatives, repos and stock loans and related structured products. I help clients with their clearing, custody and prime brokerage as well as collateral arrangements and related investment management agreements. I advise on a range of asset-backed financings including margin loans, private and synthetic securitisations and forward flow arrangements.
