Munich, October 7, 2020 - NASDAQ-listed Intersect ENT, Inc. acquires all shares of Fiagon AG Medical Technologies, a leading company in the field of electromagnetic surgical navigation solutions. With the transaction, which has a volume of approximately €60 million, Intersect ENT further expands its product range in the USA and Europe. Intersect ENT was advised during the takeover process by a Fieldfisher team across several offices led by the Munich partners Dr. Andreas Driver (Corporate) and Dr. Cord Willhöft (Regulatory).
The Intersect ENT, Inc. (Nasdaq: XENT) has developed a product family of absorbable, steroid-releasing paranasal sinus implants for patients with chronic sinusitis undergoing paranasal sinus surgery. With the acquisition of Fiagon AG Medical Technologies, Intersect has now taken another important step in expanding the field of use and application of its technology. The parties have agreed a purchase price of approximately 60 million euros.
