Professional background

My main areas of practice
I routinely guide clients through data protection and data-usage law – from international data-transfer strategies to complex data-sharing agreements and data monetisation models, cybersecurity compliance and incident response and AI regulation and governance. I'm helping organisations align products and internal processes with the AI Act and related standards, platform regulation, including risk assessments, transparency obligations and content-moderation frameworks.

Over the past several years I have acted for both national and international clients in data-driven industries, with a particular focus on SaaS, healthcare, financial-services and advertising technology sector.

I advise our clients in German and English.

Publications
My doctoral thesis on Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (2021) deals with legal implications of distributed ledger technology, such as blockchain.

My background
I studied at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster and at the Università Roma Tre in Rome and worked as a Research Assistant in the civil-law department at the Institute for Information, Telecommunications and Media Law in Münster.

During my legal clerkship I broadened my practical perspective at a leading international business law firm and at a major search-engine provider.
