Lawrence Accardi

During my period of training I was seconded with one of the country's leading Universities, where I provided general commercial/legal advice to internal stakeholders, undertook contract review and worked on a wide range of contentious student disciplinary matters.
 
I also undertake my own advocacy, having obtained my Higher Rights of Audience during my period of training. I endeavour to explain complex legal concepts to my clients in a user friendly manner, and to adopt a pragmatic approach to litigation.
 
Recent examples of cases that I have worked on, include:

• Obtaining injunctive relief to restrain a winding up petition on behalf of a national manufacturer.
• Acting on behalf of a leading UK entertainment provider in relation to a disability discrimination group claim.
• Acting in a procurement dispute for an international telephony solution provider in relation to the award of a multi-million pound contract under a framework agreement
• Advising the shareholders of an athleisure brand in relation to their dispute with a competitor over alleged breach of restrictive covenants.
