Our IP practice in Belgium is ranked in the silver tier with partners Stijn Debaene and Hakim Haouideg and Of Counsel Serge Flecijn named. In particular, our Brussels offering was commended for acting for 'some of the world’s most iconic international brands, including Playboy, as well as leading domestic players such as Telenet and Studio 100.' With the team's expertise in media and telecommunications and strides in sports law being praised.
France
Our French practice was ranked in the bronze tier and received a glowing review. Head, Nathalie Hadjadj-Cazier, who was named in the list of leading lawyers for enforcement and litigation and also prosecution and strategy was commended for putting the firm on the 'French trade mark scene' due to the team's 'winning streaks on both sides of the contentious/non-contentious divide.'
Germany
On individual rankings, Matthias Berger from our German office was recognised as a silver tier recommended expert. With WTR1000 writing that he 'dispenses strategic advice to a varied clientele drawn from Europe, the United States and Canada. They also added that international colleagues call him “one of the most commercially focused and responsive lawyers out there”.
Spain
Our Spanish practice is also ranked in the bronze tier, with partner, Josep Carbonell noted for his expertise in prosecution and strategy. The practice was heralded as a ' potent force' and noted for 'tackling convoluted disputes with brio'
