Working on projects across many parts of the world (and beyond) is always exciting. Our support for Space Norway on the world's first dedicated Arctic broadband service is a real highlight, including the procurement and customer agreements and financing transactions.
Among other major projects, I advised a leading international payment service provider on its UK regulatory authorisation and a UK bank on its global outsourcing venture for electronic trade finance services.
I have been honoured to receive a range of accolades, including Global Award as Technology Lawyer of the Year 2020 from Corporate LiveWire, Technology Lawyer of the Year 2018 – London from Acquisition International, alongside previous awards including the International Law Office award as UK telecom lawyer of the year, the Corporate Live Wire title as Space Transactions UK Lawyer of the Year and Finance Monthly's Dealmaker of the Year.
Legal 500 says I am " diligent and provide good client service", while Chambers comments that I am "well known for my work on major projects for infrastructure, financial services and telecoms clients. Clients say: "He is very skilled and extremely pleasant to work with." '
I am a regular speaker and commentator on my chosen specialist areas.
Having worked in both France and Germany, I speak both these languages fluently.
Outside work, I enjoy hiking and skiing, when time allows.
