Professional background

Professional background

I help businesses to commercially exploit their intellectual property as they expand domestically and internationally through franchising, distribution, licencing, agency, collaborations, e-commerce, merchandising and manufacturing, with a particular focus on third party relationship models.

I work with a wide variety of clients – from household names to emerging brands – and in a range of sectors, but with a particular emphasis on food and beverage, retail, leisure and entertainment and media.

I have gained valuable experience in the media sector through my previous work at UKTV and two secondments with media organisations. More recently, I was on secondment at a global coffee brand which has further enhanced my knowledge and ability to support businesses in the food and beverage space.

I provide brands with advertising advice which includes claim substantiation, ASA complaints and appeals, agency contracts, promotional activity and media buying.

I am very proud that our team is ranked consistently in the top-tier for commercial contracts, franchising and licensing by Chambers & Partners, the Legal500 and Who's Who Legal and I am personally listed as a "Rising Star" for franchising in the Legal500.

I am a consultant author for Lexis Nexis PSL.
