Why choose our Crisis Management Lawyers?

During a crisis

In the critical first few hours and days after a crisis breaks, we work closely with our clients on an initial response.

We can assist with:

• management of the crisis, including engagement with trusted PR and communications representatives on crisis messaging

• conducting internal investigations

• providing strategic advice on engagement with regulators, investigators and/or other relevant external agencies.

Once the crisis has calmed, we will continue to work with our clients on learnings from the situation and help to ensure that relevant recommendations from any internal or external reports are implemented and communicated clearly within the company or organisation.

Preventing a crisis

We can also assist with crisis management prevention and planning. Our clients do not need to wait until a crisis unfolds to access our range of services and expertise. Although some crises are not foreseeable, many can be dealt with at an early stage through implementing strong systems and frameworks that will help with handling and mitigating the impact. We can review and advise on existing risk management systems, provide training on crisis response and risk management, and create and test bespoke crisis management plans, tailored to the needs of our client.

With extensive knowledge across key industries and multiple jurisdictions, we can assist with cross border crises of any size, tailoring individual teams with the right expertise to the needs of our clients.

We can embed our lawyers within in-house teams to bolster resource and provide our specialist advice in responding to the crisis.

Where additional resourcing is required, the team can also utilise Fieldfisher's Condor Alternative Legal Solutions platform to rapidly scale-up capacity.

We work together with experts across Fieldfisher to advise on associated issues such as responding to subject access requests or dealing with privacy and personal data issues.

Our experienced team advises clients in the highest profile and most sensitive matters. We understand the impact that a major crisis can have on an organisation's image, reputation, financial stability, and employee and other global stakeholder relations.  We are here to help at every stage of the process.

We are Band 1 ranked in Chambers and Partners 2024 (Public Inquiries) and Tier 1 ranked in Legal 500 UK Solicitors 2024 (Administrative and Public Law).
