Professional background

Professional background

I assist French and international clients, across a wide range of industry and services sectors, with the day-to-day management of both individual and collective work relations.

I also advise clients on strategic and legal issues in large scale restructuring projects. I am known for my expertise in the implementation of collective redundancies and the resolution of collective disputes. I have also handled litigation relating to joint employers situations within corporate groups.

My dual experience in Commercial Law and Employment Law has enabled me to develop specific expertise with respect to the employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions and private equity, in particular as concerns acquisition audits, transfer of staff and the information / consultation of employee representative bodies. In addition, I regularly work on various Employment Law issues such as working time, equal pay, compensation plans and employment related data protection.

I am familiar with compliance work such as implementing business code of ethics, anti-discrimination and anti- harassment policies, disciplinary sanctions and whistleblowing lines.

My team and I have also developed an expertise in the negotiation of the departure of corporate officers, the termination of corporate mandates and the disinvestment of management packages.

Working along with my team, I handle disputes related to all these issues before the employment, administrative and civil courts.

I also provide training sessions on various aspects of Employment Law and teach at the HEAD (Hautes Etudes Appliquées du Droit).

My educational background includes a Master Degree (DESS) in Tax and Business Law and a Magistère in Business Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas. I also hold a Human Resources Executive Master from Sciences Po Paris and I passed the Paris Bar in 1989.

Before joining Fieldfisher, I worked at Hughes Hubbard & Reed and created and managed the Employment Law department of Mayer Brown in Paris for 14 years.

I am bi-lingual speaking fluent English.
